Boise sparks holiday spirit with Winter Garden aGlow and other festive weekend events

Boise, ID (CBS2) — It's a busy holiday weekend here in Boise!

Winter Garden aGlow at The Idaho Botanical Garden is officially open! You can enjoy the beautiful light display every Wednesday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. until Dec. 31.

The Canyon County Festival of Trees is going on Saturday and Sunday at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa. Enjoy all the amazing decorations on all the themed trees that were donated to help raise money for the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute. They will also be hosting a fashion show on Monday.

The downtown Nampa tree lighting is Saturday from 5:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. Attendees can shop local vendors at the farmers market as well.

The shopping continues at the Lovely Hollow Farm Holiday Market on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy local vendors, food, and drinks while getting all of your holiday shopping done.

This last event isn't until next week but we wanted to give you a heads up.

Merry Grinchmas is happening on Thursday at Scentsy Commons. You can drink hot chocolate, shop, and gear up for the holidays.
