Grabbed, gropped, harassed, cat called incessantly! Women flood horrifying Super Bowl experien

American tennis player Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, was subjected to a lot of harassment during Super Bowl LVIII by some of the men in the stands. She shared her horrible experience on her Instagram account and was also seen crying out of fear and shock in one of her stories.

Today, she shared some DMs that she received from countless other girls who have also gone through the same tragic experience at NFL games in the past. 

Wasn't going to post about this but 1 actually think it's important to. i can't believe the levels of harassment we dealt with this weekend from men. in the last 3 days Ive been grabbed, gropped, harassed, cat called incessantly - basically every few minutes when we were out in public, and it was really bad at the game today. we couldn't even enjoy the game without getting bothered by drunk, rude, gross male fans. its extremely stressful and scary. 

Right after that, she posted a video of her controlling her tears in an elevator. She wrote that a father who was with his 10-year-old kid had tried to hit on her and her friends and that it is always scary when grown men try to grab girls because she is sensitive to these issues. Later, she also shared that some men on social media messaged her that it was the dress that she was wearing that led to situations like this, pointing out the misogyny in men. 

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest sporting events in the United States of America and obviously, a number of incidents took place in the stands as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers to win the title two times in a row. Many NFL fans were angry at the screen time that Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift got during the event. Tennis legend Andy Murray sarcastically congratulated the famous pop star on ‘winning her first’ Super Bowl.

There were countless women who praised Morgan Riddle for being brave enough to call out the misogyny in men and point out the situation that women have to go through at sports games very often. I used to work for an NFL team and dealt with this behavior every single game. I only did one season and vowed to never work in the league. It's absolutely horrible. I'm so sorry it ruined such an exciting experience for you. 

Taylor Fritz usually accompanies his girlfriend to most of the events, but Morgan Riddle had gone to the Super Bowl with her friends this time and unfortunately, her experience was not great at all.
