Milcha’s South-Korean hit novel ‘Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion’ recently made its anime debut on April 10, 2023. Thrilled fans of the Manhwa were excited to watch the anime series.
However, they found it unfair for Studio Typhoon Graphics to only release one season of the popular webtoon, consisting of just 12 episodes.

As of now, there has been no official confirmation from Studio Typhoon Graphics on the renewal of a new season of the anime series. However, with the popularity and positive reaction the anime has garnered, it is safe to bet that a second season is likely to occur. How soon? That we are clueless about!
With the end of the first season, the last episode did make way for the continuation of the storyline, readers of the Manhwa are imperative that just one season with mere 12 episodes won’t do justice to the vast plot of the anime, and hence, it can be assumed that a second season might just be underway!

D&C Media compiled the manhwa chapters into seven volumes in July 2022. The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion is a manhwa and online book that Tappytoon released.
‘Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion’ Plot
The anime series starts with Rinko (later Raeliana) falling off a building after being pushed by a mysterious someone, eventually causing her to die. Next thing, she finds herself reincarnated as Raeliana McMillain, a side character in a novel series.
Just when you think Rinko has escaped her disastrous fate by being reborn in an affluent family in the novel, Rinko is aware of the original plot of the novel, where Raeliana is being killed by her fiance.
The only difference it makes is that this time around, Rinko is aware of the killer who’s going to murder her and hence, sets on a mission to save herself from death.
At this point, The only thing Raeliana can do to escape from this evil fate is to cut all ties with her fiance, which seems like a daunting task initially, considering how the two families are as invested in it as she is.

She believes she will be compelled to back off, and her engagement will be called off if she pretends to get romantically involved with another man who is sufficiently higher in position. Raeliana even has Duke Noah Wynknight, the major love interest of the first book, in mind for her fictitious husband-to-be!
The anime later follows up on Beatrice, the novel world’s main protagonist, and Raeliana’s best friend. It is for the Isekai fans to witness how Raeliana utilizes her cunningness and perseverance to save herself from her dark fate.
When Is Season 2 of ‘Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion’ Releasing?
With season one of the anime series ending, fans are left asking for more as the finale episode only ends up building more curiosity. Unfortunately, as of now, there is no official confirmation on the release date of the anime.
The second season will dive further into the lives of the individuals and reveal more intriguing truths, making it the most important part of the whole series. In season 2, fans will further learn why Raeliana is of great interest to Siatrich Nurial, the King of Chamers and Noah’s half-brother.
