Players have to complete a lot of mind-boggling puzzles throughout their journey in Remnant 2. While many of the puzzles are directly connected to the game’s main storyline, there are also some side quests that require the players to use their brains to solve the puzzles. One such puzzle is the Council Chamber puzzle.

In the Council Chamber puzzle, the player will be assigned to find the criminal who aided the imposter in killing the former king of Losomn. In order to find the criminal, players must find a few items as evidence and provide their verdict accordingly. This guide will give you a complete walkthrough of the side quest to find the guilty council member in Losomn in Remnant 2.

Remnant 2: How to Find the Guilty Council Member

The Council Chamber puzzle in Losomn involves finding the criminal who aided the imposter in killing the former king. Now, we have to find evidence and provide a verdict.

Find Evidence from the Assassin’s Dagger

After entering the Council Tribunal Room, the council of Savan, Oniril, and Nyele will give you a quest to find out the murderer of the former king. In order to do so, you must find some evidence first before accusing someone of doing the crime. After starting the quest, continue through the room, and you will find a portal that will take you to a mirror world.

Enter the teleporter, and you will reach a mirror world of the council chamber, except there will be no one sitting on the chairs in this world. Now, continue through the room and reach the chairs of the council members. On the lower part of each of the chairs, you will find a colored tag. Collect all the tags and store them in your inventory.

If you look at the floor, you will see the real world from which you came. Now observe the mirror of the real world and place the tags on the correct chair matching the real world. After successfully doing so, a gate will open behind the council chairs. Take the stairs behind the chairs and go towards the open door.

Soon after entering the room, you will find the late king’s body before you. But climbing the throne can be a challenging task. In order to climb the throne, go from the left side of the throne and climb the blocks. After reaching the last block, jump on the platform on the opposite side.

Now, you will need to position yourself exactly on the back of the throne and make a jump for it. Jump and climb the throne to successfully reach the dead body. On the dead body, you will find the Assassin’s Dagger. Collect the Assassin’s Dagger and store it in your inventory.

After successfully adding the dagger to your inventory, open the inventory and select the Assassin’s Dagger. Now press on the ‘Inspect’ option and inspect the item thoroughly. On the lower side of the item, you will find the tag of the actual killer.

Make Your Accusation

After successfully finding out the killer, go back to the real world and head towards the council member. Now trigger the dialogue button and choose “I have news about who aided the imposter.” Afterward, click on “I am prepared to make an accusation.” Now, match the sign seen on the dagger with the tags on the chair and make your decision. Here are the council members and the color of their tags to make it easier for you.

After accusing the criminal, they will initially try to defend themselves. Now, choose the option of giving the dagger to the other council members as evidence for your claim. Afterward, if done correctly, the accused will admit to the crimes and eventually be executed immediately.
