(Video) LeBron James sings his heart out in the rain at Adeles Concert
LeBron James is making the most of his post-Olympics celebration, as he recently attended Adele’s concert in Munich, Germany, and sang his heart out to her hit song “Set Fire to the Rain.” On Friday, a fan captured a video of James dancing and pointing his fingers during the intense moments of the chorus, all while holding an umbrella in the rain.
James’ love for Adele’s music is no surprise, given that the long-held rumor of his agent Rich Paul being engaged to the singer had finally been confirmed. King James has been spotted at multiple Adele concerts, including one in Las Vegas last October, which he had favorable ratings for.
Adele is currently in the middle of a month-long residency in Munich, and LeBron James was lucky enough to catch her show again. He’s making the most of his offseason, traveling around Europe after leading Team USA to a gold medal at the Paris Olympics and winning its MVP award, albeit in alleged controversial circumstances.
The four-time NBA champion has about a month and a half left of his offseason before NBA practice begins on October 1. Until then, he’s enjoying his well-deserved break and taking in the sights and sounds of Europe. James and the Los Angeles Lakers open their season on October 23 with a home game against last season’s Western Conference number-two seed, the Minnesota Timberwolves. But before that, there is a pre-season game against the Golden State Warriors, on 19th October.
LeBron James channels inner James Bond in Lobos Tequila ad
Apart from attending high-profile parties and concerts, LeBron James is also using his offseason to promote his Lobos tequila brand, starring in a James Bond-inspired commercial where he plays a spy who intentionally loses a poker game. The ad pays homage to the iconic “Casino Royale” film, with James delivering a nod to Bond’s famous introduction line.
The commercial takes a humorous turn when James is told his next mission will be with a partner, revealed to be none other than the Golden State Warriors’ veteran forward, Draymond Green. James’ reaction is priceless, as he’s captured laughing at the thought of working with Green before quickly turning to tears, hinting at more to come in this storyline.
As an investor in Lobos tequila, Green’s involvement in the ad makes sense. The campaign is generating a whole lot of buzz among fans, who are eager to see how Green will fit into the narrative. And as a fan favorite, LeBron James would be eager to also excite the fans as he takes part in a record-breaking and unprecedented season number 22 as a professional basketball player.
